The Devizes Reunion took place in Devizes on Sunday 03 June 2018 with the service in St Johns Church followed by lunch in the town hall.
The Honorary Chaplain, The Venerable Alan Jeans, Archdeacon of Sarum who, with the organist and the choir of St John The Baptist led a strong and much appreciated service.
National Armed Forces Weekend 2019 will take place in Salisbury on the weekend of 28-30 June. In outline the programme is
28th June 2019 - Friday PM - Hudson's Field, Salisbury 18.00 hrs BBQ for Armed Forces Personnel and families (ticketed) and open to the public, food supplied from food stalls/ beer tents etc. Live entertainment and a concert, until approx. 21.00 hrs.
29th June 2019 - Saturday All Day - parade in Salisbury 10.00-10.45 hrs approx., then to Hudson’s Field from 12.00 for events, stands, displays, gala dinner from 18.30 and evening concert, 22.00 hrs close.
30th June 2019 - Sunday PM - Veterans and Youth Event 14.00-18.00 hrs at Hudson’s Field for events, stands, displays and a Guinness Book of Records attempt at the largest crowd poppy by all present.
At a quiet service was held at West Wiltshire Crematorium service, those present said their farewells to Geoff Stanley, former Medical Reception Station Sergeant of 1 DERR, who had served in Minden, Catterick, Northern Ireland, Berlin.

Message: The Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club will be holding a Big Breakfast as part of the celebrations for Armed Forces Day National Event in Salisbury to promote the breakfast club.
Veterans and Serving personnel are invited to attend the event in the SSAFA Marquee on Hudson’s Field, Salisbury. Breakfast will be served from 10:00, breakfast guests will be able to join the public from 12:00 as The Armed Forces Day site opens for the afternoon. In the interests of veterans I would be grateful if you would spread this event through your members.
