Dear Members of the Regiment,

As many will know Len Keeling suffered a heart attack in Gloucester on Saturday afternoon.  He was admitted to Gloucester Royal Infirmary where he currently remains.  The Keeling family have been rallying round over the weekend and Linda, Len’s wife, has relatives in Gloucester with whom she is now staying.

There has been some talk of a move to a General Ward but for the time being he remains in Intensive Care.  No visitors are allowed.

Colonel Peter Rostron is keeping in touch with Linda Keeling and vice versa.  We are keen that contact with the family is kept to that one and simple channel of communication.  I shall call Peter Rostron on Wednesday to find out whether it would be helpful to put out a further update.  It is appreciated that those ‘Old Comrades’ who were present, and most helpful on Saturday afternoon, along with many others within the Regiment will wish to know of his progress.  Please pass this E-mail on as you see fit.

Yours sincerely,

Mike Motum
