Reported Deaths 2019
During 2019 we have been informed of the following members passing. Our condolences go out to their families
26 August 2019 - David S. Binding (22248355 - Sgt) 1 Glosters. During the Korean War he served in D Company and was taken Prisoner of War at the Battle of Imjin.
August 2019 - Henry James (Jim) Brown (22192166 – Pte) 1 Glosters. During the Korean War he served in A Company and was taken Prisoner of War at the Battle of Imjin.
19 August 2019 – Colin (Homer) Humphries (24005652) 1 Glosters. Served from 1964 - 1987
03 August 2019 - Frank Cottam MBE (14725216 – Sgt) 1 Glosters. During the Korean War served in A Company and was taken Prisoner of War at the Battle of Imjin.
25 July 2019 – George (Sailor) Godsall 1 Glosters. Served from 1957 to 1970’s. Nickname of “Sailor” was due to him having served in the Royal Navy during the Korean War.
12 July -2019 – David (mantis) Cox 1 Glosters. Completed his service in 1977.
24 June 2019 – Adrian Knight 1 Glosters. Served from 1990 to 1994.
11 June 2019 – Robert (Ginger) Hale (23717154 – Cpl) 1 Glosters. Enlisted in 1960 served in for 22.5 years.
May 2019 – George (Big George) Hughes 1 Glosters. Served from 1960 to 1966.
06 March 2019 – Terrence M. J. Hacker (23180875 LCpl) 1 Glosters. Served as a National Serviceman from 1955 to 1957
