The Death of Lt Col GTLM Graham - Wilts &DERR

It is with great sadness that I must inform you that Garry Graham, son of Lieutenant Colonel GTLM ('Lofty') Graham OBE, informed the Association with the news that after a short illness his father passed away peacefully at 0130 on the morning of 23 September.

This was at the home in Somerset to which he had moved with Lal earlier this year. Garry has asked that this information be passed to the Regimental Association for circulation to the wider regimental family via the association's usual channels.

A funeral has been arranged to take place on Thursday 15 October but, due to the ongoing Covid-19 constraints, attendance that day will necessarily be for family members only.

For your further information, Garry has also provided the following text of the entry that will in due course be published in the Telegraph:

'GRAHAM - Lt. Colonel Garrett Taylor Lionel Maurice, OBE (Late 1 DERR) died on 23 September, aged 93.Survived by his loving wife Lal and his children Marilyn and Garry, grandchildren Philip, David, Jamie and Tom and four great grandchildren.
