Forecast of Reunions for 2020

At the time of going to press the following dates have been set aside for the annual Association Reunions:


Saturday 21 March 2020 - Back Badge Reunion.

Les Keeling has completed his recces and consultations with the necessary parties, the Service is planned to be at St Mary de Lode, followed by a March Pass and then a lunch at the Walls Social Club. Full details and booking proforma will appear in due course on

Friday 5 and Saturday 6 June Hungerford Weekend

Arthur Christian has organised the Hungerford DERR Reunion on the dates advertised above and based on RBL Hungerford Branch club. The is no formal format and there is no need to complete any booking proforma. Those interested in attending watch out for the notifications on the Farmer's Boys Face Book site.

Sunday 7 June 2020 - Devizes Reunion

The Wiltshire County Committee have organised the Devizes Reunion, which though traditionally having a Wiltshire Regiment bias, is of course open to all members of the Association. As in recent years members congregate in the Devizes Market place and perambulate to St Johns Church for the service, followed by a short Dedication at the Devizes War Memorial. Lunch is then taken in the Devizes Town Hall. A booking form for this Reunion appears at the end of this News Sheet.

Saturday 18 July 2020 RGBW Officers Lunch Salisbury

At this point in time date and location have been set, further details will appear in due course, once Vanilla Catering have settled into the Wardrobe.

Sunday 19 July Salisbury Reunion for the Association

Again the date and venue have been booked. The Committee have approached Vanilla Catering to find out the likely cost of catering. The Catering firm's quotation will determine if the cost will be viable for members. A decision will probably be made in time announcement at the revised Association AGM.

Sunday 26 July Reading/Maiwand Reunion

The Reading Branch Committee have asked that Association members make a note of the proposed date for the annual Reading/Maiwand Reunion. Further details and booking proforma will be disseminated in later News Sheets.

A fuller calendar will be promulgated after the 2019 AGM being held in January.
