Come and join us at Brock Barracks, Oxford Road, Reading, RG30 1HW on Sunday 13th July. The event starts at 9.30am with a reception, followed by an open-air memorial service at the Cenotaph, from there we will have a simple parade with a march pass, a banquet buffet will be served in the Dragon Club, after lunch there will be a musical event. Let’s come together for a day of camaraderie, remembrance, and pride. Enjoy shared stories, in the company of those served. Whether you wore the uniform decades ago or recently, your presence will be an honour.

Reception Open at 9.30 am.
Memorial Service 11am.
Parade 1140am.
Lunch 1230pm.
7 Rifles Static Display Opens at 1pm.
Musical Event 1345pm.
There will be a bar in the Dragon Club 1230pm to 4pm (cash only).

A Regimental fun family day to be held at the Wardrobe, mainly in the garden. Bring all the family. There will be fun games to enjoy, the Shrewton Silver Band will play at lunchtime. Refreshments will be available, including the Rifleman’s Table Restaurant, but it is strongly advised that you bring your own picnic. Come and meet old friends. We hope to run this event as an annual gathering, so please support it.

Seven members of the Association, led by Association President Brigadier (Retd) P E O’R-B Davidson-Houston CBE DL, attended the Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey on Thursday 7 November 2024.
We are lucky to be allocated 10 tickets for this event. Therefore it is recommended that you book early to obtain a ticket. Preference will be given to those that have not attended before. Dates to be confirmed but likely to be 6 November 2025

The Association has again bid for 30 places for members to attend the Royal British Legion Cenotaph Parade in London on Remembrance Sunday on 9 November. There will be 10,000 ex Servicemen and women on parade and it is always amazingly well supported by the public in Whitehall and on Horse Guards Parade. Last year we had a number of members pull out at the last moment so only 18 members were on parade. So far this year, 13 members have applied to join the Association contingent. Consequently, we do need more members to take part. Please step up and join us for a great national event.
