Shortly after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of lung cancer, Former WO1 Jim Long of 1 DERR. died peacefully at his home on the 22 February. Further details will be published when the arrangements for his cremation have been finalised.

Norman Minty has been asked by the family to co-ordinate the attendance of Jim Long’s military colleagues. Once Norman is able to provide the details of Jim’s service will those who are going to attend please use PM to let Norman know.
