SOGM Call to Arms
Ed Brown has just joined The SOGM Board of Trustees.
He has witnessed the desperate need for volunteers to help run the museum.
If you have any spare time where you could help out for a day or half a day it would be greatly appreciated.
The Museum is the one place where we can visit and meet old friends and stay connected to the Glosters/ RGBW and 1 Rifles.
This is a call to arms guys let’s make an effort to help out and keep our museum going.
Sincerely
Len

This from Trevor Gardiner today:
All who are interested.
Gents. I have managed to secure a venue for the start of a monthly coffee morning to be held at 8 BoleBridge St at J.D.Wetherspoon’s. Tamworth B79 7PA. The first meet up will take place on 15th July, starting at around 10:30/11:00hrs.
It would be fantastic to see old friend’s and comrades who have served with the 1st Battalion The Duke of Edinburgh’s Royal regiment.
In the first instance and to confirm attendance can you please message me separately on messenger. All future meet ups can be followed on the Farmers Boy website.
I am sure like me and those that attend are looking forward to pulling up a sandbag and reminiscing with stories and laughter from back in the day.
Take care all
Trev
